Daniel Corrales Alonso

PhD Student in Statistics and Machine Learning @ICMAT

About Me

Born and raised in Madrid, Spain, I am a PhD student at the Mathematical Sciences Institute (ICMAT-CSIC). My research focuses on developing Bayesian methods for adversarial machine learning as well as working on decision-making under uncertainty. My goal is to develop robust, safe and secure machine learning algorithms that can be used in real-world applications.

So far, my main application area has been the field of healthcare, where I have worked on projects related to the characterization of colorectal cancer risk, the development of decision making tools for colorectal cancer screening programs and the design of incentives for increasing participation in these programs.
